My name is Keely. I am a journalist, a screenwriter, and a not-quite-activist feminist. I'm from Brooklyn, I'm pursuing my undergraduate degree at film school in L.A., and I'm spending a semester in Paris. Jewish, sort of; queer, maybe--My life is comprised of in-betweens.

July 20th Giovanni’s Room may or may not be (read: is) one of my top five favorite books of all time and now I want to reread it even though I am still in the middle of Vile Bodies which I really liked at first but now find a chore to read and even though I have about 20 unread books on my bookshelf if not more including at least 3 Perry Masons. God, I love Perry Mason.
