It's good to be back.

Nearly everything I ever wrote in middle school is still saved on my computer: every story begun; every concept mapped out; every folder created for ideas in whose service I would never create a single Word document.

I’m home for the summer, and I look around my room at all the shit I own. It sickens me that I have so much when others have so little. I don’t need nearly as much shit. Half of what is in this room could be donated to charity, and others would get far more use out of it than I would. That might be my summer goal: to drastically reduce the amount of shit I own.
